Universities of Canada in Egypt is opening its doors to students, parents and all learners wishing to visit its state-of-the-art campus in the new administrative capital during open days scheduled for June 18 and 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event offers a chance to visit UPEI and Ryerson Cairo branches to get first-hand experience of unique undergraduate programs, meet current students, talk to faculty, and explore campus facilities.
June 18 marks the first of the 2022 Open House Series hosted by U of Canada. It’s been a busy summer for both UPEI and Ryerson, with the first graduating from its first class in August, while the second is set to accept its first cohort in September. Well-established Canadian universities bring together decades of experience in providing opportunities to connect their students with industry partners and marry academic concepts with meaningful life experiences.
Dr. Magdy Elkady, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the University of Canada, said: “Our contribution to the development of education in Egypt has in fact become our passion. We are delighted to bring such world-class universities to Cairo and share the valuable experience they have accumulated over the years with the Egyptian community. We have unique programs that no other institution offers, and we have made it our goal to ensure that our students have what it takes to compete in the global marketplace.
The open day will help students decide on their future path. The event program is designed to allow visitors to interact with faculty members and delve into topics of interest on a deeper level. There will also be a designated room for applications and submission of applications, as well as fun activities and refreshments for attendees during breaks. Transport to the new administrative capital is also available.
